Gunlom Falls (Echo Lake in the film) is the location where Mick Dundee spears a fish and cooks a goanna as part of a bush tucker BBQ. After Mick cooks dinner, Mick and Sue go swimming in the spectacular Gunlom rock pool, now one of the favourite tourist locations in Kakadu.

Where to meet (15 mins prior)

Meet at the Cooinda Lodge bus stop at 6:45 am, or be ready to depart from Mimi’s buffet breakfast at 6:30 am.

*Note: The buffet opens at 6:30 am — you’ll have 15 minutes to enjoy before departure.
