Part of the Yurmikmik Walks — Take a Refreshing Dip!

Yurmikmik, named by the Jawoyn people, lies between the Marrawal Plateau and South Alligator River. Best visited from December to March, its walking tracks lead to flowing waterfalls and lush forest. Boulder Creek offers a quick swim close to the carpark, with a nearby lookout over the South Alligator catchment. Services are over an hour away at Cooinda Lodge and Pine Creek, so come prepared with food, water, and essentials. Accessible via gravel road—AWD or 4WD may be needed—check seasonal access updates before you go.
