July brings Kunbonjdjek - the cool season, as recognised by the Bininj and Mungguy peoples who have called this country home for tens of thousands of years. It's a time of change across the landscape. Water that covered the floodplains through the wet begins to recede, slowly opening up access to the ancient places that make Kakadu unlike anywhere else on earth.
It's the most sought-after time to visit this dual UNESCO World Heritage listed park. If Kakadu is on your list, now is the time. Discover more about the 6 seasons of Kakadu on our website - see link in bio.
