      Mimi's restaurant at Cooinda Lodge offers comfortable indoor dining with air conditioning all year round. During the cooler months, from March to September, we additionally open the alfresco Barra Bar, adorned with fairy lights for a balmy outdoor dining experience. Alongside this, our Too Deadly Takeaway fish 'n' chip van, The Smoking Croc BBQ house, and the early bird coffee cart are also available, each featuring traditional bush-tucker flavours combined with modern culinary techniques. While these seasonal offerings enrich our guests' experience during the cooler months, Mimi's remains consistently open throughout the year.

      See & Do from Cooinda Lodge

      Cooinda is located in the Southern end of Kakadu, and is a perfect base for most tours.  All Kakadu Tourism tours are based out of Cooinda, including Yellow Water Cruises, Kakadu Adventure tours and Yellow Water Fishing, and it is a short walking distance to Warradjan Cultural Centre. The Southern end of the park features most swimming holes and waterfalls including Maguk, Jim Jim Falls, Twin Falls, Ikoymarrwa, Boulder Creek, Motor Car Falls and Kubara Pools.

      Payment Policy

      Payment Policy: Full prepayment is required for all reservations. Upon check-in a security deposit or credit card guarantee is required for any incidentals during your stay. Please note a 1.1% surcharge applies to all Visa and MasterCard transactions and 1.4% surcharge applies to all Amex transactions. You will be sent an email 7 days prior to reconfirm your camping trip - this email will include the boom gate details & and any other important information.

      Cancellation Policy

      Cancellation Policy: All bookings need to be cancelled using the guest portal. Refunds will be processed within 3 business days of the cancellation. $20 handling fee applies to all refunds up to 7 days prior to arrival. Inside 7 days, no refunds will be available.

      Modification Policy

      Modification Policy: If you are experiencing delays on your trip to Kakadu please email us to amend your booking. All amendments incur a $10 fee per change. Modifications made to travel inside 7 days may incur 100% cancellation penalty.
