Mimi's restaurant at Cooinda Lodge offers comfortable indoor dining with air conditioning all year round. During the cooler months, from April to September, we additionally open the alfresco Barra Bar, adorned with fairy lights for a balmy outdoor dining experience.

Mimi's is currently operating with the Barra Bar menu. From June, it transforms into a softly lit à la carte space inspired by the Australian Outback, showcasing native ingredients and an extensive bar list featuring local NT brewers and distillers. No bookings required.

Ubirr, one of Kakadu National Park’s premier lookouts and rock art sites, has reopened to visitors!
Visitors can now access the Ubirr art site from 8:30 am until sunset.
*Please note that vehicle access is limited to high-clearance 4WD vehicles only due to high water levels at Magela Creek.
Sunset at the Ubirr Lookout is one of the most special experiences in Kakadu National Park. From the top, you can take in the Nadab floodplain, hear the evening bird song, and see wallabies dart through the escarpment.
