Manjmukmuk Restaurant & Bar Interior Refurbishment
The Mercure Kakadu Crocodile Hotel’s restaurant, Manjummuk — meaning “excellent taste” in the local Kundjeyhmi language — has undergone a complete transformation to align with its 2023 rebrand and new name. The refreshed interior features natural fibres, native timber, local artworks, and bush-inspired floral touches, creating a warm and welcoming space that captures the essence of Kakadu. With fresh paint and thoughtful design throughout, Manjummuk now beautifully reflects both the flavours of the region and the spirit of the outback.

Yellow Water Boats Undergo A New Look!
We’ve been working on an exciting project to transform the Yellow Water Cruise boats with vibrant artwork by five local Bininj artists. Soon, the boats will showcase colourful depictions of Kakadu’s wildlife and culture, bringing local stories to life on the water. The Kakadu-local Bininj Artists partnering with Kakadu Tourism to feature their artworks include David Cameron, Jacqueline Cahill, Aysha Alderson, Lennie Murabura and Billy Badwana.
Installation is underway, and scheduled for completion by the end of 2025.
