After trying to open back in May, Gunlom Falls is finally ready to welcome you from 4th July 2025 – fashionably late, thanks to a soggy surprise from Mother Nature and a cheeky saltwater croc! 🐊
Rangers have been working hard—fixing roads, clearing debris, and safely relocating the crocodile from the lower pool. The area is nearly ready for visitors. As always, Be Crocwise and drive safely on 4WD tracks. Kakadu Adventure Tours are available for those not self-driving.

Visiting Arnhem Land and Kakadu National Park is an unforgettable experience in Australia. Located in the Northern Territory, these regions are incredibly rich in Aboriginal culture. Kakadu is a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its ancient rock art, vast wetlands, and diverse wildlife.
Arnhem Land, which requires a permit to visit, is still owned and managed by Indigenous communities. It offers a deep cultural connection and a chance to experience one of the most untouched landscapes in the country.
If you're interested in history, nature, and Indigenous culture, this part of Australia is truly special.
