Kakadu National Park has a number of camping and caravanning options for travellers from managed campgrounds with amenities or you can get back to nature with a stay at a bush campground where facilities are more basic.

In addition to the Kakadu National Park campgrounds operated by Parks Australia, visitors to the park can choose to stay at one of the privately managed campground sites. 

The Ngurrungurrudjba (Yellow Water) Campground & Caravan Park 

Centrally located in the park next to the Yellow Water Billabong and nestled under the shade of Australian bush tucker trees, you will find Cooinda Campground & Caravan Park.  Cooinda offers guests the choice of powered and non-powered sites, and you can take advantage of all the amenities including 2 swimming pools, a petrol station, laundry facilities, and a choice of dining options including the Barra Bar and Mimi’s Restaurant. There is also a souvenir and gift shop on-site along with reception who can assist visitors with booking 4WD Adventure Tours, the Yellow Water Cruise, scenic flights over Kakadu and more!

Mercure Kakadu Crocodile Hotel
