Kakadu Full Moon Feast

7pm to 10pm, Cooinda Lodge Kakadu 

Completely immerse yourself in the oldest living indigenous culture in the world with the local family of Cooinda in Kakadu National Park.  Dine with us and enjoy a delicious healthy food, foraged on country and learn about the local Murumburr clan of Kakadu, their culture, their stories and their history.

Local Bininj chef Ben Tyler, founder of Kakadu Kitchen, in collaboration with Executive chef Phil Foote and Kakadu Tourism present an exploration of celebrating Kunumelleng seasonal bush tucker.  A four course fully indigenous menu and paired beverages, a star presentation and didgeridoo playing.  Ben Tyler, a proud Bininj man from Murdudjurl, Patonga Homestead, a remote Indigenous family community on Murumburr country in central Kakadu National Park, NT, Australia, located just fifteen minutes from Cooinda Lodge.
